of the most memorable and award-winning campaigns in BMW's history.

McCann Erickson — Magic Hat

Magic Hat, a specialised youth-marketing and branded-content division of McCann Erickson London, operated duringthe booming late-1990s pop culture era. During this period, Magic Hat leveraged its ability to access youth centric brands, contributing to a cascade of Trademark Licensing agreements for the "Girl Power" phenomenon, The Spice Girls. Under Simon Fuller's management, the Spice Girls quickly became the most merchandised group in music history. For Peter, the Magic Hat experience introduced
him to the power of trademark licensing and how brands iconographic expressions, extended into almost any relevant environment, transform those environments into powerful media platforms themselves.
